According to the estimations of professor Sergio Della Pergola, the Jewish population Argentina is made of 200,000 people. More than 80 per cent live in the City of Buenos Aires and its suburbs. Around 16,000 Jewish families are members of AMIA; which is the Jewish institution with the largest amount of members in the country. As well as its members, AMIA attends all members of the Jewish community who are in need.
